It's just not cricket
It's softball, and infinitely less complicated and thus more fun. Plus, I imagine harem pants would be frowned upon in cricket, so everyone's a winner, especially Emmie. As it's been so beautifully sunny, a few of the more actively inclined employees nipped to the park for a game of softball; don't worry, there was beer involved so it wasn't 100% wholesome.
The victors of the 'Woodcock Softball Champions' tournament were Team MC Hannah, who won 25.5 runs to 13.
When I said everyone's a winner earlier, I lied. The losers: Team MC Hammer, even though they were assisted by a couple of 'local hoodlums', they couldn't touch the other team. Nice trousers.
Good effort all round, especially Kate, who also had the very important job of looking after/drinking the beers.
