Going one better than the winners 'Only Men Aloud!', Kyriakos's choir, 'Coro Nostro' actually let women sing in it too, which is much friendlier.  Here is tenor Kyriakos in action, belting out some classics at the Christmas concert at St. John the Baptist Church in Leicester.  Coro Nostro perform a wide repertoire of sacred and secular polyphonic motets, madrigals and part songs ranging from the 13th to the 21st century.  Polyphonic motet singalong, anyone?

In keeping with PHWT tradition, the annual Christmas shindig went off with a bang.  Held at the Warwick Arms Hotel and with the theme of 'Bah Humbug', everyone rose to the occasion and humbugged themselves with gusto.

What's black and white and can't turn round in corridors?

A nun with a javelin through her head.

What's black and white, black and white, black and white, black and white and red and red and red?

A panda, a zebra, a skunk and a penguin fighting over a tomato and a lipstick whilst standing on a post box.  Above, Robin demonstrating his opposable thumbs.

What's black and white and blue all over?

A penguin holding its breath.  Contrary to what the above photo suggests, Claire did wear clothes to the party.

Queen Hannah with one of her minions.  What's black and white and tells bad jokes?

A punguin.

What's black and white and eats like a horse?

A zebra.

What's black and white and goes Yes Yes Yes?

A nun winning at bingo.

Ba dum chhhhhh.

Previously, the prize was the glory (and ironically, a bag of humbugs), but this year, we've gone all out and acquired a trophy.  Noelene and Karen are the proud winners of the prestigious title of 'Best Festively Decorated Office Utilising Recycled Decorations And/Or Home-Made Adornments', plus this rather impressive cup.

Behold!

And the pièce de résistance...bears wrapped in silver foil to imitate polar bears ambling the circumpolar North - tremendous effort ladies!

Also, special mention goes to Sarah and Annie for such a high level of innovation concerning the dangling of inflatables.
