Welcome to Nicola Armstrong, who joins us an Account Manager; here are her five facts…

1. I love doing ‘combat’ (a mixture of boxing, kick boxing and karate moves) and ‘balance’ (a combination of yoga, Pilates and tai chi) at the gym
2. I can joust and swordfight! (thanks to an amazing hen do last month)

3. I love singing and, other than doing this in my car or around my apartment, I do the odd bit at parties or (very) occasionally with bands

4. I have a bit of an obsession with princesses and fairies, and turn every fancy dress theme so that I can dress as one or the other!

5. I love live music and spend far too much money going to gigs and festivals!

After looking up various aspects of Nicola’s five facts, I have become knowledgeable on the following:
Stand-up fighting distances
She-Ra
Morgan la Fey and Welsh mythology
King Lear’s refusal to give his daughter Cordelia a dowry (I assume she probably didn’t get a hen night)
Harry ‘Daaaaaay-O’ Belafonte

Thanks, Nicola.

Congratulations to Holly Pallister who has been promoted to Head of Creative and Adam Norbury who is now Head of Digital Design.  Alongside Jon Kielty (Head of Design) they will work together on each client brief, combining the talents of all of their teams to produce some absolutely stunning work which will blow the socks off our clients!

Another new starter at PHWT is our new Digital Developer, David Parsons.  Years ago, the term ‘geek’ often referred to a carnival performer, known as a ‘wild man’, who would bite the head off a live chicken.  These days though, a quiet night in with a glass of wine seems to suffice.  How the mighty have fallen.

1. I enjoy playing football, squash and cricket.
2. I think Family Guy is the best thing on TV.
3. I’d rather stay in watching a film and having a glass of wine with my girlfriend than anything else.
4. I like anything with ‘Star’ in the title (Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate)!
5. Most of my friends would describe me as a geek.
