Time for a catch up on a number of new starters that have joined us over the last few months, we've got a bit behind so with a deep breath here we go...
Noelene joins as an Account Director on our automotive team, her 5 interesting facts:
1. I’m tall – in fact 3” taller than my husband
2. I played footie for Aston Villa (Ladies) for 3 years but am still girlie and love jewellery and everyfink!
3. Although born in Birmingham I come from a long line of Irish farming folk, but didn’t inherit the great accent or musical ability, only the shoulders
4. My Gaelic surname Mag Uidhir, (Maguire) translated means “son of the brown haired one” – erm?
5. I’m embarrassed to admit I’m a National Trust member, BBC History mag subscriber and love anything Tudor
Paul 'The Bear' also joins us as an Account Director in automotive. His facts:
1. I met the Rolling Stones last year which was fantastic apart from losing the power of speech (a rare thing my family has told me)
2. I hold a racing license and am planning on getting back to the track next year! (After paying for the wedding I’m told!)
3. My first student job was working at Drayton Manor dressing up as the mascot (huge lion) handing out leaflets in various town centre locations. Embarrassing as it is especially when a group of 10 year olds attacks you with egg and flour…
4. I am a huge football (Man United ?) fan and also enjoy playing when I can get the time
5. John Nettles goes to my gym, had a pint with him after the workout – very random but proud moment
Franca who recently started work in production, her 5 facts and moment of truth:
1. When I was 8 I broke my tooth while I was playing football and I didn’t say the truth to my father, he still thinks that I fell off the chair while I was trying to take a crayon from the floor.
2. People say that I can make a nice TIRAMISU’
3. I like gliding, you should try!
4. I’d like to travel all around the world
5. I like Guinness
Amelia has joined our account handling team having just graduated from Nottingham University, her 5 interesting facts are:
1. I have a fear of spiders, the open sea, gory horror films and baked beans.
2. I love the sun, travel, music, fruit, and alcohol… preferably all together.
3. I enjoy DJ'ing… just amateur at university parties so far but hoping to branch out as a professional soon!
4. I am a proud auntie to two nieces and two nephews at the tender age of 22.
5. The only thing I am going to miss about being unemployed for the last two months is ‘Britain’s Best Dish’ on ITV.
