Roger Winnett our Financial Controller is sadly leaving us on Friday 16th December 2005.

People come and go fairly regularly and we don't always make a song and dance about it, but with Rog it's a bit special.

Rog is virtually a founding member of the agency. He joined on 4th January 1988, his actual age when he started is a well kept secret but some claim he was still wearing short trousers on his first day !

Just to put 1988 in perspective:

- Margaret Thatcher still had a couple of years left in her as Prime Minister

 - The IRA blew up the Grand Hotel in Brighton

- Wimbledon won the FA Cup

- Stefan Edberg won Wimbledon

- George Bush (Snr) was elected President of The United States in October

- Rain Man won the Academy Award for Best Picture

- Pan Am flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie in December

Quite some time ago !

Over the years Rog has contributed immensely and helped make PHWT the place it is today. He's grown with the agency, is part of our DNA and will be sorely missed.

We wish him all the best in his new job and are very sad to see him leave.

Unfortunately Rog was here for the infamous "FLASH" Christmas Card circa. 1992.

Having not had enough to drink at the Christmas party, the Calor team needed a night out at Warwick Castle to get a little festive.

After 1 drink...

Obviously deeply affected by Ghost, Steve has been trying for some years to perfect the art of pottery. Seems he's making progress. This is a model of his sister's greyhound (shown in the picture behind) that he made as part of her wedding present. He still can't make a round bowl though.

39 is not always a milestone worthy of recognition on the esteemed blog (we normally wait till 50!).

But he asked, so here's a picture of Luke at his smoothest.
