Since Save The Queen and Legatte first hit the catwalks in 2000, these distinctive Italian brands have developed a loyal cult following.
So it seemed right to celebrate the first 10 years with a fun-filled evening hosted by Janet Thurston, sole UK agent for these two brands and something of a legend in the world of fashion.
Over 100 people were introduced to the fabulous new Spring/Summer “Queen” and Legatte ranges, with the help of models, make-up artists and hair stylists.

Alex Bernstein, director of the iconic evening wear brand, Bernshaw, and local stylist Michelle Blake hosted an entertaining evening of glam and glitz.
Bernshaw has been designing sexy, glamorous and elegant evening wear for 65 years, and is still producing cutting edge fashionable dresses worn by celebrities the world over.
Alex and Michelle providing some top tips on how to sparkle during the seasonal festivities, including picking the right evening dress and the latest hair and make-up trends.
Alex talked about his time at Bernshaw and some of his more amusing experiences. He also very generously donated an evening dress as a lucky draw prize, which was won by Tracey Candy.

Natural beauty expert, stylist and accomplished make-up artist Sophie Channings recently organised a photo-shoot, with clothes supplied by Feva.

We ran a style evening just before Christmas with a focus on seasonal fashions and colours.
Local style expert Michelle Phelps hosted the evening, supported by demonstrations and talks from Nouveau Lashes, Blushed Hairdressers and Jilly Black Lingerie.

We held a very successful two day Fashion and Feelgood Fair to showcase our new autumn/winter range, accompanied by demonstrations, informal talks and displays from a number of fashion and feelgood experts including:
• Michelle Blake – renowned style consultant
• Martin & Phelps – up to date beauty tips and tricks
• Nouveau Lashes – the latest eyelash extension techniques from America
• Slimtique – power plates for slimming and LPG technology for non-surgical body and face treatments
There was also a draw with the top prize of a fabulous Bernshaw evening dress going to Aileen Holland.

Always a good philosophy in our view! Following a staff meeting to plan for the busy season ahead, we had a little celebration at Hotel Kandinsky last month to celebrate the opening of our revamped shop, and to say thank you to the team of Feva girls for all the hard work over the summer.
It was a great night, although Jan and Nikki drew the short straw. They had to work the next day!

We held a party on Thursday 6 April to celebrate the opening of our new floor dedicated to stylish evening and occasion wear. Over 150 guests enjoyed champagne, canapés and a free prize draw.
First prize of a Bernshaw evening dress went to Sara Gibbons of Cheltenham. Check out our pictures below.
